Hello Rodeo Fans!

My name is Jessica Blankenship and I am the 18-year-old daughter of Kevin and Marsha Blankenship. I graduated in June from Sweet Home High School. Throughout High School I was active in Volleyball, High School Equestrian Team, Amnesty International, Future Business Leaders of America, as well as livestock and horse 4-H. This fall I plan on attending LBCC and pursuing a career in Dental Hygiene.

I am honored to represent the town and community where I grew up. Horses and Rodeo have been a part of my family for several generations and I am thrilled to carry on the tradition. My partner’s name is Buckshot. He is an 11-year-old quarter horse gelding. I have owned Buckshot for 3 years and have developed a bond with him, which continues to grow stronger. This year we will be traveling around Oregon representing Sweet Home at parades and Rodeos.

I look forward to seeing you at the

2011 Sweet Home Rodeo July 8th, 9th and 10th!
