New show, New day! Start off your Sportsman’s Holiday with The Ward-N-Dave Show! Starring Ward Christman & David Dominy, with special guest Stefani Brown, as they perform some Diamonds of the Decades, presented by SHOCASE and sponsored by Cascade Timber Consulting!

If you attended the SHOCASE Gala, you’ve undoubtedly heard these characters sing, so you know it will be a spectacular show! We’re taking it back to the Sweet Home High School auditorium at 1641 Long Street.

Come and enjoy an evening of music and laughter for all ages, and also see your 2024 Sportsman’s Holiday Court along with the oh-so-cute Junior Court! And it’s free to attend!

Queen's Coronation

The community is invited to witness the crowning of the 2024 Sportsman's Holiday Queen from among the five lovely princesses who make up the distinguished Court. The 2024 Sportsman's Holiday Court comprises Princess Peyton Markell, Princess Emma Durrett, Princess Zoe Garrett, Princess Peyton Lindsey, and Princess Amelia Sullens The Sportsman's Holiday Jr Court will be performing.

 

Cut the Gut Cruise
Friday, July 12th, 6pm-9pm

The "Cut the Gut" car cruise is more than just a celebration of vehicles – it's a chance for car enthusiasts to come together, share their passion, and enjoy a fun-filled night in the beautiful town of Sweet Home, Oregon. This cruise features many business checkpoints from one end of Sweet Home to the other. At each stop, participants will have their passports stamped for a chance to win a raffle prize. Participants are encouraged to bring their best rides to show off, and spectators are encouraged to sit along the route to watch the show.

So whether you own a classic car, a hot rod, a motorcycle, a muscle car, or simply like to look at them, this is the night for you! Mark your calendars for the second weekend of July and join us for the "Cut the Gut" car cruise in Sweet Home, Oregon. We can't wait to see you there!

Please note that all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued. This event happens rain or shine. Online purchases close Wednesday, July 10th.

Elk's Lodge Breakfast
Saturday, July 13th,  8am - 11am

Come on up to the Sweet Home Elks Lodge for a delicious breakfast. This meal consists of pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, and biscuits & gravy. The cost is $8 for one time through the line.

Sweet Home Community Yard Sale
Saturday, July 13th, 8am

If your garage, shop, and closets are full of spring cleaning casualties, submit your address so your yard sale can be listed on the Sweet Home Community Yard Sale map! If you're looking for great deals on household items, furniture, and other goodies, then you will want to shop on July 13th!

The Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce will provide a map of participating properties to help shoppers find the sales. If you want your sale listed on the map, the address must be submitted by the Wednesday before the sale. You can pick up a printed copy of the map on Friday, July 12th, at the Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce.

Get ready for the Sweet Home Sportsman's Holiday Parade on July 13th at 11am! The theme is "Diamonds & Decades." Your float can sparkle or highlight an important decade. Be creative! Register for $10 to secure your spot!

Logger Olympics

The Sportsman's Holiday Logger Olympics is an exciting event that brings together teams of local forest industry professionals to compete in various logging-related competitions. The event will take place at the Outdoor Events Center, located at 4001 Long St., starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 13th. Participants will showcase their skills and strengths in a series of challenging events, celebrating the rich heritage and vital role of the logging industry in our community. Admission is free, making it a great opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the afternoon celebrating these talented teams.

Sweet Home Rotary Club will be onsite selling hamburgers, lemonade, and snow cones.

Fireworks

Unfortunately, there will not be a fireworks show this Sportsman’s Holiday. The organization that oversaw the program in the past can no longer do so.
